Bob Gogerty

Chairman and founding partner of Gogerty Marriott, Bob has been the force behind the firm’s innovative approach to public affairs. He continues to lead strategic planning and message development for Gogerty Marriott clients, in addition to heading selected project teams.

Bob has served as principal consultant for AT&T, The Pickens Plan, The Boeing Company, and Weyerhaeuser, among others. For AT&T, he developed and leads a unique multidisciplinary team of national consultants drawing on the varied expertise and skills of several elite communications firms to deliver results.

Bob has headed a multitude of campaigns including measures to fund development of rapid transit in the Puget Sound region. He chaired Washington Governor Mike Lowry’s campaign and was chief strategist to Tony Knowles in his successful run for Governor of Alaska.

Prior to founding Gogerty Marriott, Bob served as deputy mayor of the City of Seattle and director of the city's Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.
