A 35-year public relations professional, David is nationally accredited by the Public Relations Society of America, was named the 2011 PR Professional of the Year by its Puget Sound Chapter and a member of its Counselors Academy. He specializes in crisis management, crisis communication, labor communications, litigation support and media training.
His experience in broadcast journalism, politics, corporate and agency public relations provides invaluable expertise in a broad range of circumstances to an exceptionally wide variety of clients.
He is a nationally recognized expert in the field of crisis management/crisis communication and has written articles and lectured extensively on the subject. He has been involved with product recalls, labor strife, corporate takeovers, environmental issues, airline disasters, numerous lawsuits and a variety of other highly visible and controversial issues. As a former Emmy award-winning journalist and corporate spokesperson, David is highly sought after as a media-training specialist and corporate issues strategist.
David has been recognized as PR Professional of the Year by the Puget Sound Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America; was inducted into the University of Washington School of Communications Alumni Hall of Fame; and has served as chairman of Pinnacle World Wide, a network of 60 independently owned public relations and public affairs firms in 40 countries.
